With Decker Homes being

system as well. A geothermal system transfers heat from the ground
to the house in the winter, and removes heat from the home in the
summer. This system reduces the heating and cooling cost by approximately
40% and provides most of the hot water for the home. Additional energy
saving features include LED and fluorescent lighting, high efficiency
appliances and Energy Star certification stating the home is over
60% more efficient than new homes built to code. The home is estimated
